The joint research project HyLand is a preparation project for the hyperspectral German satellite mission EnMAP (Environmental Mapping and Analysis Program) and develops innovative techniques to derive crop and soil parameters from hyperspectral remote sensing and terrestrial laser scanning data as input parameters for novel yield estimation models. Yield estimations of new quality will be expected by coupling of hyperspectral data and plant growing models.

HyLand consists of three sub-projects (SP), “Soil”, “Crop” and “Yield”. The inner conjunctions and the structure of the project are illustrated in the figure below.
